CARL BUILT / RCI 69 BASE PLUS

Hello All,
I have been out of radio for 45 years, just getting back into it. My question is, can I run a RCI 69 Base Plus with a Carl Built 400 HD without any issues? I'm still trying to get my arms around all of this, please be patient. Thank You!

That should be a great setup. I run a Carl Built 400HD with a Stryker 955, love it.

In both examples those radio's each have variable power. You can get by running a 4 pill amp with a higher powered radio IF you back the radio power down so as to not overdrive the amp.

I have no idea what the suggested input levels are with a Carl built but I would assume it would be the same as for an old X-Force amp. I would check with the amp builder and see what he suggests. Also if you plan on talking SSB I would have him do the class B with a switched delay switch upgrade.
