Every so often someone will post about a net in their area. I thought it would be helpful if operators listed the nets in their area, the call in times and the frequency(ies) they are on. As propagation characteristics get better all the way to 2025, there ought to be some great opportunities to make DX contacts. Knowing where and when to find a group of operators may help your chances of success.

Post your nets and those that you know of.

Just my thoughts.

Thursday nights, there's the Central Maine SSB net. Starts @ 8 p.m. ch.37LSB as well, the New Hampshire Sideband Club runs a net Thursday evening but I forget whether or not it's channel 38 or 36 LSB. Both live-cast their nets on their respective Facebook pages. Lastly, when skip conditions are just right, the Tango-Charlie club in the UK does a net every Saturday night, starts @ 7pm (their time) and ends when they run out of check-ins. I've heard several that ran after midnight CST via the web. Whoops, I almost forgot the frequency, 27.585, and 585 is too noisy they'll either be on .575

That's 8 nets identified of which 7 are accessible to me. The U.K. guys on 27.585 are out of my reach since I'm using stock CB radios - several with SSB (TRC 490, Uniden PC 122, Cherokee AH 100, Cobra 148 GTL, etc.) and two of the new Presidents with FM. I'll be giving these nets a try ASAP.

Thanks for the responses.

If skip rolls in your favor channel 2 AM has a roll call every night from 7:45 to 8:00 Pm Tennessee time. Real nice guy called Bluebeard started doing it about 12 years ago as a way for all the locals to do a quick check in so everyone knew everyone was alright. It's grown now and he enjoys when skip joins in. I've talked to him enough that he knows me by voice now. Again, real nice guy located near Knoxville TN.

This would make a nice wiki page. I have no clue on how to do that, but it would be editable to keep it up to date.
