CB Base Stations You've Had

Good job, everyone! Keep 'em coming.
Be sure to include pics of any great old radios like camaro1's Montgomery Ward unit. (y)

Montgomery ward 702 40 channel, dads cb that I moved into my room through highschool (late 80's to early 90's)with a fiberglass whip outside my bedroom window

I wanted one badly but was too proud to get one. When someone asked, "What kind of radio you got?" I didn't want to have to say, "Montgomery Wards."
Wish now I'd gotten one and KEPT it!
Am guessing they didn't manufacture their own. Does anyone know who actually made them?

don't know who made it for Montgomery wards but I wish I had it still also,,,, my mother-in-law does some estate sales and selling on e-bay, she had one a couple years ago in like new condition and she had it on e-bay for sale, she didn't even know I was interested in it, so I put a bid on it for $125 and it ended up selling for $400,, I didn't need it back that bad

way 2 many to count. but my favorite was the browing mark 3 with the vfo box and golden eagle mic.

I forgot my Johnson Viking 4740 with a Turner Super Side kick. I bought the Uniden Bearcat 980 - the one that lasted six months - after the Viking 4740 died.

I also forgot my TRC 432 with a Johnson desk mic (Turner +2). And then there was that A99 I used for a while.

My wife used to complain about my radio collection. I can't imagine why. It is only about 1/3 the size of her shoe collection and much smaller than my collection of electron tubes.

This was my favorite. Unmodified and never tweaked. I used it as my alarm clock and woke up everyday to channel 19 screaming in my ear. I still have it and it still works.
