I will second that on Dipoles working good for local. My inverted V has given me very impressive performance on the local scene. It's not perfect and yes, I have noticed the polarization difference. But it still works
I've read that some say the inverted V's transmit & receive more directional from the wire ends.
I don't currently have an A99, but many hams use it in the same way as the Imax2k for 15m through 10m.
Someone here who has done it may speak up.
I can use the Imax2k without the need of a tuner.
I want to see if I use the Eznec transformer feature...if it will allow the A99 to produce some multiband responses...like we hear-tell about the Imax. When I use the transformer feature the model does not allow me to add or subtract length to the radiator or the radials...unless I remove the TR'r and make the changes in the blind...so-to-speak. Do you see something similar when working with a real antenna and a transformer?
