I figured it would get edited, that’s why I said what did. It was an attempt at humor, I laughed.

Life is short and you’re not promised a minute past the one you just lived. Recently losing my mom has made me see things differently, maybe that explains some of my wacky postings.

I meant no harm, just making light of the conversation.

I know this much, I've known some cbers that wanted/ enjoyed sounding like those ch 6ers. Constantly repeating the same phrase over & over & over again. On the flip side, I've known those who run some power yet prefer to sound clean, & loud. The ones who sounded clean were the ones I personally have chosen to emulate. No b.s. like echo, or noise toys, I want to mess with you I'll play a bit of classic country. A little E.T. or Hank Sr. maybe a little Bob Wills. Just to see about tweeking a nose or three.

Bob Wills is still the King..

I will say though, i do like my noise toys, but they have song clips recorded on them for being played at strategic times.

Lord I can still remember
The way things were back then
In spite of all the hard times
I'd live it all again
To watch the Dallas Cowboys
Run the double wing
I'm proud to be from Texas
Where Bob Lilly is still the king.

When they talk about pro football
And look back through the years
You hear about the Packers
And the old Chicago Bears
But cross that old Red River, hoss
And they don't mean a thing
Down here we've got the Cowboys
And Bob Lilly is still the king.

In the golden days of the Cowboys
Folks came from miles around
To watch that Doomsday Defense
Knockin' Redskins on the ground
And Tom Landry's space age offense
With Danderoo at quarterback
Throwin' bombs to Bobby Hayes
Who ran the hundred in nothin' flat.

Now if you've never been here
Then you might not know
There's a whole lot more in Texas
Than just the Alamo
It's the home of Roger Staubach
And lots of other things
But he'll be the first to tell you
Bob Lilly is still the king.

That is one heck of a ammo box collection you got there, I'm seeing what looks to be some .30 carbine, .38 super, .44 special, 9mm, 30-40 krag, .308, 30-06. Wow!
Gotta say, that Grant XL is about my favorite thing in that pic! Love those radios. Currently on my 3rd one, first one went missing years ago, second one needs work, third one seems to be just fine.
Haven't seen a Washington base in years, looks good!
