CB Tricks web site

I am pretty fly, for a black guy.

See what I did there? Tell me I’m not the only one that knows that song.

I’d like to see Vader win just once, good doesn’t always win in real life.

Cb tricks will be back with new and updated information

I'll Wait Right Here...

I tried to email him in regards to getting the forum up and a place added for donations. I got no response. When he did reply back the first time he said he would get the forum up and a donation area. Guess he got the most important part back up (the site) so maybe in near future we might see more. Hope so!!!!!!!!

I'm glad to see the main CB Tricks site back up. The Wayback Machine seems to have a 'throttle' setup of some sort for anyone who tries to use them as a free web host. I used "Web Forwarding" at my Network Solutions account, pointing it to a snapshot they had of my web site last August.

Nomadradio.com was hosted on Bennie's server for about 14 years. Went away when Softlayer pulled the plug on it. After a few days I found that only the first jpeg of a web page would come up from the Wayback-hosted site. Seemed like a pretty good stopgap at first. Traffic must have triggered the throttle that suppressed the pictures.

Oops.

Now it's hosted at a local company, and all the pics come up as before.

Bennie had cut me an incredibly sweet deal for all the years he hosted my site, so my only response is gratitude for his generosity all those years.

All's well that ends well. And my site is still 14 years out of date.

But it's up.

An old thread now and almost a year since the last post now. I'm guessing the cbt forum is sadly a lost cause.... Makes me wonder if Bennie is ok and although I appreciate all that he did there he must have had a good reason as to why he let it fade off into a distant memory.

Funny I was wondering the same thing went to the site and still not up and running but at least the tech and info section is still going but for how long??

It's 2020. how long does it take to have a site up and running

We are currently updating the site to bring it up to today’s standards and provide our visitors with the latest updates. Our new updates will allow us to use more usable content such as video and audio links, and other apps, to provide you with a better experience.

This site has been in existence for many years and has an enormous database of information. As a result, it will take some time to bring it up to the standards of today’s sites so please be patient with us until that time.

Thanks for the update, the first thing to fix is the donation button. I am sure most of us would pitch in to keep it going. Thanks!
