Will the 139's volume /on off and am/ssb selector / potentiometer work on a uniden Madison 8917 digital clock final version? Thanks

GO to CB tricks website
look at schematic of both the above radios
and see if the values are the same for the parts you are thinking about changing out.
OR use a vtvm put it on resistance and measure the pots and see if they are the same.

The volume control from the 139 will sub into the Madison OK. The mode selector on the 139 is a 3-position 7-pole rotary. The Madison switch is also 3-position, but I'm not sure if it is 7-pole or not. If it is 7-pole or less, the 139 switch will work but may not be a direct swap. I will do some more research on that. Good luck & 73s.

Thanks 399. I've already purchased a 139 (in working condition) for a song and dance. I really hope the parts are interchangeable but I won't know until I have the parts out. I really hate to part out a working 139 but it's a nessecsty. I hope the 139 's rf meter csn slso be used as the one in my madison is toasted. The am/ssb and on off/volume controls on my Madison accually still work but the knob/shaft can be pulled in and out about 4/10". This project has been an xsperiance. I will post pictures of the final outcome. if the parts don't match up im gonna button it up so I can put the Washington away and begin using it. I will continue looking for the needed parts but atlest I'll be using it while searching. Thanks to all
