I see blown open traces on the back of the board, attempted repairs, and lots of possible shorts.
If you could clean up that area so we can get a good look it would help.

Coming soon clean board. Best I can do. Looks to be a lost cause? I have repaired these boards with clippings before, lots of work. I needed a reference picture of solder points and wire positions. What's your prognosis ?

Mine has also had some work, but for the most part it is in tact. There is a small coax for a receive amp that has been added, and around the PLL has been changed and a few thing removed, but I think some of the areas you are looking at are in tact.

Looks to me as if what you're seeing is also the result of incompetent repairs done in the past.
Any time a motor vehicle spends enough time under water, it will be considered "totaled" and no longer worth the sum total repair labor and materials needed to restore it.
Judging by your photos, this radio has crossed the line beyond "repair" and will require a "restore" job before you can use it in a reliable way.
Prolonged exposure to high humidity and moisture will cause hidden damage in addition to the oxidation damage you can see.
A radio that almost works, or is "weak" on receive, transmit or both is what we usually see from radios in this condition, once you get it to work at all. Fixing each and every fault that this introduces will add up to a laundry list of tasks.
Do you have tools for this kind of repair? A signal source for receiver troubleshooting, a wattmeter and dummy load? Multimeter? Or an oscilloscope?

It may be a lost cause? The work done on this radio was done by a respected radio repair and Mod person who no longer works on radios.
