i have Cobra 2000 gtl for sale it doesn't come with the speaker as it never came with one when purchased use
radio has r114 mod c46 mod all limiters are intact it also has the exit thirteen asymmetrical mod on a toggle switch to turn off and on
tr-41 has been upgraded on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 6/7 due to the age receive is good on freq it came with channels which i remove but as usual they cut the trace to the front toggle switches which I put back to function again using jumper wires small dent look a pic of the back of the radio clarifier is open comes with stock cobra mike it came with the diode mod when i got it for the extra digit on the right for the time

I put the radio on the bench this morning and good news is it all works, some dirty switches but that’s normal.
My test setup consisted of the following, LP-700, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer all going to a dummy load.
With switch on back in up or down position I’m seeing identical power out and swing, I’m also seeing the same modulation pattern and the signal is clean. I decided to use a separate receiver to listen to the audio output. Strange thing is in AM Analyzer and Scope show I’m on 27.2050 but audio is off frequency and requires me turning the clarifier till the frequency counter on the 2000 too 27.2090 till I hear clean clear audio. This is identical on all modes AM, LSB & USB.
Im not sure what mod was installed I didn’t remove the cover yet to take a peak But it’s getting removed back to stock and an alignment.
Do you have a sheet with what mod was performed and how? Just help save me some time.

r114 was changed to 10k c46 was changed and the asymmetrical mod and the clarifier was already moded when i took possession of the radio
