Cobra 2000 GTL Help Coil L23

On my Cobra 2000 my coil choke at L23 is missing, could someone please tell me what is the specs on this coil choke, so i can ored it online. Thanks in advance

Don't believe that Uniden carries that part any longer. Your best bet - IMO - is to get a 148GTL chassis/parts radio from ebay for ~$40 and use the same coil from that location. Basically, the 148GTL is the same chassis as the 2000 GTL. Most - if not all - of the parts are interchangeable. L23 is p/n LA285.

Ranger USA may very well carry it new - give them a call.

Thanks for the reply, but do you know the spec's of this coil, so that I will know if I'm putting the right Coil I'm sure there are several in the radio and I want to know if I'm putting in the right one.

P.S I went to all the Cobra site, and they only give the part number to a company that is no longer in business, but none of the site give the specs, just part number.

So im looking for the specs

Best of luck finding the specs for these inductors for this radio, as I have tried on different occasions to do just that for this radio and many other radios.

The ONLY way I can think of, is to use a decent quality inductance meter on that specific part.
