Cobra 2000gtl internal help!

Richard , Most 2k's ( Like my own ) have been up-graded over the years . Mine is what I was looking for w/ all the extra channels . Not that I have been able to talk any across the pond DX in quite a few years .:whistle::LOL: . But 2k's that haven't been touched are like Unicorns .;):D 73 & God Bless , Leo

OK so I have found a replacement transistor but their is a diode clipped and 2 resistors clipped. Diode is not in production anymore and I am having issue with the resistor as well. My question is that both the diode and resistors are there, so would soldering them back together where they were clipped be ok?
 
Did you check the diode & resistor to see if they are still good ? Believe me I am no Tech ! But if it's what you have & they are already there & not available .... ? I say run with it ! JMO 73 & God Bless , Leo
