Comparing it to my Cobra 29 LX LE thats in my Suburban, the receive is much better, and it has more swing...Plus the avg. watts is higher on the Comp. Cobra...Little pricey...But it works good with my 2x6 Davemade.

When I hear him on, I change freqs. He's way over modulated, high pitched and course sounding to me ..... irritating to listen to.

Look at it on a scope and you might not like the reason why.

Competition Cobra 29????? Since when is audio important in a mobile keydown competition radio......I thought signal strength was the only thing they care about. Hard to get past the "Made in China" on the back of the radio, at least for me.
Most keydown guys take a few radios to the shootouts in case they short key and get blown up by 3000 watts 20 ft away from them, kind of stupid to spend $250 on a radio that will be blown up a few times.

I personally talk SSb and stay away from the Super Bowl, or is that The Chili Bowl ?? Hmmm, Maybe the Over modulated Bowl. Anyways JMHO
