Ok Ill check these here and the only reason I brought up that I had the ones I have is because this post just made me think of the ones I have and I know Ill most likely will never use them and figured if you all like to tinker.

I looked at both these kits and all thats in them as far as an extra part to be added is a 100PF disc capacitor 1 in each kit.

Can someone explain to me how adding a diode will broadband a radio? :blink: It must be some new CB technology that has come out in the past five years since I quit the electronics business. Perhaps I need to keep abreast of new developments.
