Did you put the stock mic back on it and try it again?

yeah It didn't come with a stock mic I went to the local shop and bought a Cobra high ger power mic and had them hook it up and test it. It worked so I took it home and hooked it a nothing is comeing out .

I think that radio has a dynamike, is it turned all the way to the right or to the left? Crank it all the way to the right if it is to the left and that should fix you up unless something is wrong with the mic circuts.

Long shot here, but if you're mounting the radio in a bracket and tightening the mount knobs way down, it could be pulling the audio chip away from the circuit board. Problem with that theory is that the receive audio would be gone, as well, and you stated that you still had good receive. Only other thing I can think of is that you have a connection issue at the mic jack that did not show up on the test bench.
