Cobra UK 29 LTD ST Mod

I looked at the alignment and it does not show L308 for align. parts layout shows it to be a coil spring. so you would leave it alone.

If you look at the schematic, L308 is the 4th coil going back from the antenna jack toward the final. The arrow above L308 indicated that it's a tuneable inductor, not a can. - 399.

here is a service manual I found for the UK 29 radio. it shows the layout of the parts and is hard to read. maybe you can blow it up enough to read the parts. I looked at the alignment and it does not show L308 for align. parts layout shows it to be a coil spring. so you would leave it alone.

just did the "wideband" mod on my UK 25 LTD ST - now the UK/EU knob becomes FM/AM, BRT/DIM/MID switch is UK40/LOW-MED/HIGH bands, tone 1-4 becomes banks 1-4. e.g, UK/BRT/Tone 1 gives the full UK CB27/81 FM channels
