colossal 10 k

Ranch55 how was it to tune I have the rigexpert AA35 zoom you think I would have any trouble tuning it with that analyzer I also heard that the builder marks it forthe end user to almost makes it fool proof ,I think I will wait a bit to see what this next storm does and then go head and order me one thanks guys for the insight,

That is correct. Tell the builder what frequency you want it tuned to and that will be your center frequency tune.......
Yes, that Rig Expert will be fine......

Well guys I order the colossal 10k today and I also order LMR 400 new coax cable 100ft of that over the weekend I sure do hope I didn't make a bad choice on the antenna and coax.I like the way the antenna is made like a tank should stand up to some decent wind over here in Louisiana, thanks for all the come backs and help.

You should be very happy and satisfied with your choice......
Extremely robust and very well made.......

Guys newbie to the forum but been in CB for awhile thinking of retiring my Sirio Tornado 5/8 ground plane and thinking of maybe one of these
collosal 10 k antennas I know price is a tad bit steep but is the antenna worth the money and how hard is it to tune,my Sirio was very easy to
tune and performed very well just looking for something better,we just went through a cat 1 hurricane and the sirio took a beating so I am
looking for something a bit more robust any knowledge of the colossal would be welcomed and thanks in advance.
Worth every penny if you require a more stout antenna build because of wind, ice, snow or even large bird issues like eagles, osprey or owls.
While the maco v5000 was an ok antenna it doesn't hold a candle to the Colossal when it comes to durability and easy tuning.

I agree......
I use the ZEROFIVE Colossal 10K ....... Performs well on 10m and 11m.....
And it is extremely robust and tough......
