Considering a new radio

I have been looking at the AT6666 myself. I have loads of radios already. I will buy one and run it a while then buy another but never want to part with my older ones. last month some one was selling the AT6666 for 200.00 shipped and almost bought one. the 2 seem to be pretty close to same options from what I have read. if you do buy one let us know how it does for you. I have never seen either other than sell adds.

Similar board functions. Only issue my v3+ had was SWR protection circuit bombed out.. Was good on RX.. Only issue may be CW keying as a user of v3 noted issues.

If running 6666, keep power down on FM to save finals from what I read or turn down internal FM adjustment. No CW on 6666.

I spent refund and $160 more and ordered Alinco SR8T for $460 does all mode 160-10m, 100w on CW, SSB, and FM. Does 40w on AM, easy to mod to 11m with just solder dabs.

The other killer option is the Stryker 955HPC for $370 or so. Same board as well.. Jacked up to 100w when tuned properly.. Does 10 and 11 with mod.

The AT-6666 is $230 on Amzn
