I'm thinking of Easter weekend.
Looking for thoughts and comments.

I'm always willing to give it a go. Just a suggestion for this time - since the object here is to have fun and make some on-the-air contacts with other members. Can we narrow it down to just a few channels? Five or six of us looking for each other on too many channels in AM and SSB is maybe just a little more of a challenge that is should be. Just a thought.

How about just two channels (one SSB and one AM), if the band is crowed then post on here the new frequency change. Once the change is made don't go back to the old channels. We could use the same for the Ham (when we have one)side of things, make 28.454 the calling freq for the contest.

I was just looking at the contests that are happening on the Ham bands as well and may have a full fledged forum contest on Ham and 11 metres.

So what frequencies would you gentleman prefer??I don't do 11 metres to much anymore so I want to get max participation, ensuring a good frequency is a good start.

Help the newbie out here, how do these contests work? Do we submit somewhere, a list of all contacts made during the contest?

It sounds like a blast to me! I might also suggest maybe using USB instead of LSB to minimize interference from the usual traffic?
