Ha! Going over there today for screws to mount RAM assembly to hold GPS in big truck. 3/16” aircraft cable. Dremel stuff to grind paint or rust in Mobile bonding work.

Cabinet Knobs. Cracks me up. I’d better grab a few before Redbeard-U812 pulls out to pass me in the Texas Redneckery Division.

GUNNY PUCK out of business.

Corona Balls (built with set screws) are available:

Antenna Parts Outlet

eBay
(CB Radio Antennas)

Bells CB

Except the 3/4” Bells offering, the others tend to be 5/8” or less in diameter. K0BG notes that the size is probably insufficient.

OTOH, that rainy day job with MOJO metal polish and a couple of layers of ReJeX polymer sealant done well is such that

Static can’t adhere in the first place!!!

The 4.5’ PRO-COMM “Quad Wrap” pair I’m currently using on the 579 Peterbilt to replace the 3’ stock fiberglass units.

On the serious side, treatment with those products survived its initial outing of 8,700-miles in three weeks — including salt spray — with little diminution in shine. Remove, and wipe down.

LooseCannon, it seems to me that the usual accretion of road dirt, chemtrail smart dust, bugs and other insults isn’t static control friendly.

Of course, YMMV.
