Will be try'n to snag that 556 on list. Kav came by and took all his tomato cages. I'd just put them around mine. He was telling me he's been getting better contacts barefoot. The 980 I gave him, and an old amp 100 whatever never did sound good. He's got couple coily antenna off his old truck up on the barn. That teaberry is quite old and never sounded good, much less with that old grey 100.

I don't think Iv'e ever made a " Legal " contact w/ a forum member yet . But then again Iv'e never made an Illegal contact during a contest ( or any for that matter ) Dx just doesn't seem to be working for me during that time . But if I hear a forum member ...... " Capt my engines can't take it much longer " ! 73 & God Bless , Leo PS if contesting I follow the rules !

Hello All: Great idea having a contest during the "Defcon 1" stay inside policy. While working a few projects in the Advanced International Research World Headquarters for Advanced State of the Art Design and Operation ( the garage) and listening in on CH 38 LSB I heard some skip stations come in but just raising the S-Meter just above the noise floor. I called a few stations but only one came back to me he was 60 some miles away.
I will continue to monitor and call out every once and a while. It sure would be a good thing to have a little skip come in. I will call the local airport tower and ask for increased skip conditions. Oh wait there ain't got some tower. Ok you guys are on your own.

Last night would have been good, but while trying a tree fell across the road stranding my neighbor roadside. Had to go out and cut up a Hackberry tree, came back and conditions were fading.
No WDX contacts, but I believe I saw Big Foot, ..........twice!
