I. OBJECTIVE For amateurs world wide to contact as many amateurs and prefixes as possible during the period of operation.
BANDS Only the 1.8-, 3.5-, 7-, 14-, 21-, and 28-MHz bands may be used.
Observance of established band plans is strongly encouraged.
EXCHANGE RS(T) report plus a progressive contact serial number starting with 001 for the first contact.
. A PREFIX(WPX) is the letter/numeral combination that forms the first part of the amateur call.
Examples: N8, W8, WD8, HG1, HG19, KC2, OE2, OE25, LY1000, etc.
So this means, you Newer Operators with resent callsigns KE/KD/KG/KK ...etc. will be extra multipliers!
So jump in! Help the groups and DX stations with your extra points!
This is a work everyone contest...Stateside to Stateside/ N. America to N. America contacts are even worth points to contesters. Then if your a prefix has not been worked before on any band your EXTRA points.
So as stated above New Op's your a premium for contester's/groups and DX.
So RadioFun for all in this one Op's.
This is really the last real worldwide HF contest till July on SSB.
Lots of Special Callsigns will be issued for this weekend only. So a chance to pick up some neat Locations and callsigns.
I will be operating from W8PR starting Sat evening, my concentration will most likely be 40m/80m once Sunset falls in OHIO(depends on 20m still producing good points), however as the "Grey Line" falls across N. America 40mtr's will certainly begin to yield new calls and multipliers.
SATURDAY 2100z - till wee hours SUNDAY morning... W9FNB will be at the helm of W8PR
ENJOY
All the Best
