Crt galaxy pluto

I'm not sure which version of the Pluto that your friend has, but I took some pictures of mine for you to compare.
The early versions didn't have variable power, but did have a PA. The later ones have a variable power, but lack the PA.
Also the later ones (I'm unsure if this applies to the early ones) were either HI BAND or LOW BAND as indicated by a sticker on the rear of the radio. Mine says high band, but I swapped in the low band crystal from my PLUS that died to match another PLUTO that I had at the time.

Yes that looks identical on the front panel I think my buddy's radio is a later model the frequency counter module look quite a bit smaller do you by any chance have a wiring digram for your radio the above photos are very helpful much obliged.

He has the last version then. Get the board number from the location that I showed and you can find a schematic that is close. You won't find a schematic for these out in the wild anywhere.
