Curious: What is your best solution for solder mask removal?

I generally use a very fine sand paper (1000+ grit) or emory cloth when I can get to it. If it is hard to reach, then a jeweler's straight slot screw driver with a sharp tip. I haven't found a chemical solution that I would risk using. Looking for a better solution if it exists. Something that could be used in Dremel would be ideal.

I know there are conformal coating removers, but I haven't found them to be very effective against solder masks.

Thanks,
