I am working on my tower. Was thinking of a big 11 meter beam. Been wanting to upgrade to general and looking at a Beam to use. Had a lot of fun on 10 meters this weekend so a 10 meter 15 and 20 meter beam or tri bander would be nice, would love to get 40 in there any sugustions. 40' rohn tower Rotor etc.

Wire beams are a less costly and effective alternative to aluminum ones. Only thing is, they are stationary. I've talked to a couple guys on 40 that had them set up so they could point their signal east, or point it west, by a switchable reflector. I haven't seen the design though. Probably some multi band ones out there. Really depends on your yard space, too.

I have talked to a lot of guys with spider beams, and they seem to work really well with a small footprint and medium duty rotor.

A yagi would be cool, and you can look at Mosley, Cushcraft, Hy-Gain, SteppIR, etc. You're going to get into heavy duty rotors with these.

Mosley TA 33 is a great tri bander, built like a tank, light weight,
Fan dipole for 12/17/40/80 meters.
