Dx-160 help ?

IIRC I installed an SO239 connector and wired it to several turns of wire around that ferrite loopstick antenna. Been so long ago I forget but I do know I could hear European, North African and Moddle East stations on the longwave and AM broadcast bands nack in the late seventies and early eighties.

Very cool. Honestly I like the radio over the grundig g3 that I have mainly cause it uses a vfo real

It'd be nice if it was easier to tune to an exact freq, but I like it better for SW then my G6.

Now that I have my ts-430 it's not even plugged in though lol

It's a lot of work to use the dx160 but it's worth it. Sending mine out for an alignment in a few weeks.

i have two that i have had scence new, i think they may need a touch up where are you sending yours. these are great radios. in fact i like to play with them more then my Icom R71A.
