I'm hearing skip on 29.555 am what coms are permitted on this freq?
The same guys are transmitting on 27.025 am. ??????
The call sign is 147. He's on 27.025 but on 29.555 at the same time
29 mhz is in the FM portion of the ten meter band and general class or higher for class requirements.
If you are hearing "bleedover" from the CB band chances are that guy is running a splatter box radio and kicker ...I can assure you if that guy is ever located he will be in more hot water than he will ever know what to do with...the FCC frowns on interfering with the ham bands from trashy CB operators
With the Russia DX contest, very heavy amount of Russia contacts.
Had over 20 E Russian qso's and couple A Russia qso's.
Couple new ones for me in Ohio for 20m:
ES5TV Estonia @6pm
4L8A Georgia @6:20pm he was on for couple hours
A71A Qatar @6:24pm
TU2CI Cote D'ivoire Africa @9:30pm
Conditions stayed open late into the night for both Fri/Sat on 20m.
I ended forcing myself to turn off at around 1am Sun, still many Asiatic Russian stations calling "CQ Contest"!
Got deep into Asiatic Russia with almost every contact after 10pm, also into Kazakhstan multiple times with signals around 5/5.
Around 1am started to hear Europe coming back in, went to bed with a lot of buzzing in my head.**Jump_im**
