Conditions seemed down in Ohio no Russia or Eastern edge Europe.
Trying to listen for divisions that I need to check off my list.
Friday I talked to 172AT101 Phillipe very nice qso from him at
4:45pm on .520 usb 5/7-9 - nice to catch Pacific that loud!
I heard sat mourning 44, 173, 185 8:30am usually they come in after
1pm for me, also first time hearing 105 and 351 about 10am for me but
covered up by contest qsying on .555, also 27DT109 around 10am.
Looks Nov 15-19 to be better conditions then back down till mid late Dec.
Don't hear the 9 div guy on .555 talking constantly anymore.
70 degrees this weekend with next week back to the 30's.

Wow - looked at conditions for today and its up:
SFI 144
Sunspots 188

this last weekend it was lower but was starting to come up
Sunday it was SFI 133 and SSpot 106

was anyone on this mourning and notice opening conditions?

of course I'm talking conditions for 11 meter - all low meter bands looks Fair to Poor conditions.
Fair for 10m seemed to be opening conditions for 11m for me.

An odd contact for this evening? 530PM CST 56sd110 Finland ....must be aroura prop?? Contact was weak but first time I have heard Scandinavia in the pm!
Did also hear 133 division....was not able to work him but next time
I hope the conditions get better...SD contest weekend might bring out some rare ones?

ghutch - had to travel to Mexico, Chihuahua this week for work(should have brought a radio/ant) - so I won't be back on till Sat mourning.
sunspots back down from yesterday but still good numbers!
should be a good week for you guy's!

It been a few days.....so here goes
Yesterday....band was wide open, europe was strong early, made a couple contacts in Poland, heard reunion island at 5/3. I did most of Saturday Just listening. Many good dx station about.
Same thing today....listening i caught up with 2sd178 Dx man after our qso I then made a call on 555.
4dt101 Charles in Argentina came back for a good qso, 29ll105 Michael from N Ireland, and 2 stations in 44 division. 44ssa023 and 44sd126 both good copy and using 12 watts. The 44 division qso turned into a 3way qso with 9dx04 mike, myself and both s Africa stations all working low power....mike turned down to .790 milliwatts and was easy copy here and in Africa! Good stuff
Dx has been great. Starts in Scandinavia, Europe, as the Europe begins to fade Africa, s America....then west coast and pacific.
What are ya'll hearing? Any rare ones? Philpoh? What are you hearing? Back from Mexico ?

Conditions for Eastern Europe seem to have a small window from 8am to 9am
Looks like Mid Dec next jump in conditions!

Philpoh....my radio has been slow....Ive been working and not Dx'ing !!
listened a few minutes this morning, worked 40/14sd198 with 20 watts. that was cool. Heard europe calling, philpoh your right many Poland stations coming in here as well, worked 161ar101 maciek in south Poland....great sounding station.
not alot to report guys? its not the conditions it is me not workin them.
Dx man? any good ones or anything you know about coming up? ive seen you spotted on dx27 a couple time lately
as a note to all saw a Ghana and Nambia spotted this morning? dx cluster, i've heard nambia a couple times but have not worked them yet. Ghana was in the radio this moring but covered up with a couple stronger stations!!
got a couple qsl cards in from Morocco! that is nice as a followup from emails from Stephane 76 ed 001. heard his station again a few days back he is really getting into the usa.

A little slow here ....IF ya call Italy,England,Ireland along with South America slow.....but they are not as strong as they were.
Dx is great relative to really bad conditions, we better enjoy the contacts we can make to our friends in Europe and ?? Elsewhere while we can...we have all seen the condition so slow these would be the best of conditions right??
I ve only been on early and only for a hour or so 700 am cst just a bit ealy...so my reading on the band is not the best......philpoh??, dx man?? Any one?? What are you hearing? Do we have an specials or activations to chase??
Looks like mustafa is going to open java soon that will be a good one....he has been spotted a few time over the last few days so Indonesia is getting into parts of the USA. I guess while things are somewhat slower but not really bad at all when stateside operators are working Europe in the am and Indonesia and the S Pacific in the pm!
I plan to setup on the beach Saturday and run the 5/8 wave set in the surf rather than my 60 inch Wilson so here's hoped for the rare ones!

Worked 2 stations in 153 and an Australia station this morning along with Ireland ? Strange Conditions i hear reunion island, s Africa, Thailand, Australia and the normal NE USA.
