Easiest Towers or masts to put up and take down?

i'm guessing the manufacturers put guy rings at the top of each pipe section because they didn't feel it shouldn't guyed . i wouldn't have more than 5 or 6 feet extended beyond a guyed point unless it is a very small antenna like a starduster or maybe a antron 99 . the more length or wind load a antenna has the more torque its put on the mast just above the highest secured (guyed or mounted) point .

One thought would be to do that pivoting parallel to the house, not away from it. I'm sure there are "but's" to that, but it might 'fit'.

Parallel will not work either...to the front is the street and the pwr lines...and to the back is a huge maple tree then my pole barn.....I have a contract with the tree cutters to take the big maple down...but we have had rain almost continually since it quit snowing.....with that tree gone it will be doable.

I have not seen a good pic of a telescoping antenna mast......I have a PDL-2.
I am beginning to think that I myswell stick with the banana tower?

Put tripod on the roof and your antenna on that. No other structures, trees, not high lines to deal with.
If you can't do that, then try the ladder idea. Very simple, very easy, and sturdier than a push up pole.

No thanks on the tri-pod......will put up the tower I already have if I cannot find something I like better. :)
