eBay Purchase / wondering if I'll ever see the radio!

Radio arrived as advertised, nice and fully functional. What got me fire up was the US Post Offices tracking or should I say lack there off!!!! Then my local postman told me the item was never sent. I trusted the post office and shouldn't have! I only had the radio temporarily connected to a Wilson 1000 that was in the house and was picking up skip from the Texas Panhandle and the west coast.

One bad banana doesn't spoil the whole bunch. One seemingly poor episode with the Post Office or any other place of business shouldn't ruin a person's whole viewpoint on that business. I do a ton of business through the PO and they come through for me with flying colors 99.8% of the time. That's a pretty good record.

It's one of the pluses I like about UPS and FedEx is the online tracking and it's kept pretty well up to date. Both are good in my area. USPS is so slow I'll have the package a day or two before it shows on the site other than the acceptance.

usps

i ordered a set of tubes a few weeks ago. the USPS lost the package.
so the seller sent me a new set. but they have no clue were the first
package is. go figure. so now i have to pay for the tubes again. because of the USPS
2 thumbs down.

It is the sellers responsibility to ensure you get your package, if they didn't insure the package, then it's their own fault.

Bottom line...

The seller owes you a second set of tubes at no cost to you.

It's eBay's policy.

I placed a winning bid on a Uniden Madison on 8-13-12 from ebayer name
hotdogrelish I paid with PayPal as soon as the sale ended. The next morning the item was marked shipped and gave a tracking # with estimated delivery 8-21-12. Today the 22nd I went to the post office and ask them to track the package. They said the seller printed a label which created a tracking # but has not shipped yet. Has anyone ever had dealings with this hotdogrelish? Don't most ebayer's ship within 9 days? I'm starting to feel ripped off. What do you think?
I have had to remind the seller that there is no info yet on the tracking, and by the way you can check thru ebay or the USPS online for tracking. Save you trips to the P.O. Some times they are honest and admit they didn't ship it yet or they lie and say they did and then the next day or two it shows "acceptance date" on the tracking info. I think they didn't realize this. It's a little bit of a hassle with ebay and they will give them more chances to ship item "as much as 10 days from reporting" if not your money will credited to your Pay Pal acct.I buy and sell on ebay and have had a few bad experiences but definitely more on the good side.

I use paypal wherever paypal is accepted ;) Paypal had taken care of me I had 1 bad experience and was getting scammed on EBAY I been Ebaying for along time and 1 time isnt bad. Paypal refunded me all my money as we were talking on the phone.

In the end the @$$clown that was ripping me off ended up triple screwed himself but thats a whole nother story ;)
