EBAY SELLERS

oh, no doubt. but I was thinking a small tube mic preamp would be a good pairing, and I'd be able to try other mic heads with it. I've got an older 636l that I think would sound good with some tube amplification. it would also carry over well if I do end up getting a ham ticket.
I could even plug my guitar into it
just idle speculation at this point though. I've spent more than enough on cb stuff lately.

The $175 one has non yellowed tape on the end and what appears to be a USPS label stickers on top. It's a good possibility that at least one end was opened at one time and the fact that they said that they're not responsible for any missing items is a red flag. Obviously the seller bought it from somewhere and had it shipped to them and now they've marked up the price to recoup what they paid for it and to make some money.

The seller with the $179 Starduster is being honest and wants to cover their back from Ebay. They have plenty of pics showing bags of antenna parts. They also said that the box was previously unopened but they opened it to take pictures. I'd prefer to buy from this seller if I were in the market for their wares.

One more thing. Looking at the treads on the hub, they look dark almost like they've been exposed to the elements. Looks like a question to the Ebay seller about this.

The $200 Starduster has the proper yellowed clear tape on the box ends and and USPS stickers on it. So they bought it off someone else and had it shipped to them. Not enough detailed pics but asking the seller questions may reveal more.
This would second runner up on buying a Starduster if the price don't make one too squeamish.

It also looks like this seller has already had 3 offers and the seller has declined them all.

This one looks complete but I'm really not sure about the threads.
