The competition of an eBay auction can really put the dumbass in some people. I don't get it unless there in no way they could get their hands on one any other way than buying it on eBay.

Maybe the amp is worth more than new, because the previous owner is a Professional Ham. LOL
I will never understand the logic of putting 2 fans in the case, but none blowing air across the heat sink.

Because the fans are mounted in the direction to draw the heat out away from the heat sinks, that's why!

You must be a professional CBer not to understand that logic, LOL

What else is there to do when you're a retired/disabled person, with a disposable income and want to relive the days of your youth? eBay is the place where it's all about the high price.
 
Either the bidders are ignorant or they are involved in group shill bidding to reel in a sucker.
 
Remember there was a cherry Cobra 2000 GTL with org box and manual and it sold for like $1200 to $1400 2 dumbasses. They could have bought 4 used ones is great condition for that price
