Good morning all, I had some help from someone on here that gave me a good starting point. That being said I was curious to know were you all run your knobs on your echo? The outter knob being gain and the inner round 1 being the delay.Yes I know there a lot of boards on the market and radios, just curious were y’all set them . Thanks. Thanks

Toke , You just had to post a pic of that damn Noise Gate !:LOL: I been holding off buying one but must say when set right it gives a nice Audio quality ! (y) I'll be checking Ebay again in a few minutes . Thanks a lot Pal ! :ROFLMAO: Stay Healthy & Safe ! 73 & God Bless ! Leo
It's a little more than noticeable but not obnoxious. I like the unit. I'll admit I haven't used it much on ssb but I get great reports on am.

Toke , That would be my concern , I had my Silver Eagle modded to some of the high pitches out & also have a Sadelta Cm-40 compression mic I use on SSB . But after seeing your post doing some research they have a Vid on Youtube and the Op is showing how one similar to yours (?) performs on SSB , sounded decent to me ? :) Also the S meter was showing a lot more compared to when he was using his stock mic ( he points this out in vid ) . Stay Healthy & Safe ! 73 & God Bless ! Leo

The EQplus from w2ihy has it, but it is off all the time, improving readabillety of the audio, one reason i speak in the table mounted mike from the side 2 inch distance.
No echo, downwards expander tight, no room sounds to get into my signal.
Th excellent internal Eqplus compressor/limitter takes care of the rest, radio compressor off.
Equaliser tone control used sparingly, mostly adding some lows in FM only.
