When using a Bird 43 on 27mhz, does the frequency range on slugs matter, as long as it falls within the frequency I'm using?

For instance, the slug pictured below operates from 25-1000 MHz, as opposed to the 2-30MHz variety.

Are there any negatives to using a broadband element that covers a larger frequency range?

I am new to bird meters myself, so very interested in the answer.

I would think it would be fine since with either element being close to the edges of their working limits of them on either slug.
