These people know what EMP is and it's effects. It has been a major concern due to the complex computer systems on board ships.

Expensive wall, floor and ceiling paint. When I built my Faraday Cage I got a lead via Craigslist to a bunch of aluminum screen wire and stucco mesh. I laid the stucco mesh out and tacked it up to the framing on both sides of the wall and soldered it every 24" and laid then laid two layers of aluminum screen mesh and tacked it down. I used conduit tubing and screwed that to the framing. I tied all of that to earth ground rods in two locations. It works very well. Go inside and close the door and the is no RF inside the cage. Cell phone? Forget about it. I'm going to turn it into my ham shack this summer.

Tall , That almost sounds like my Chicken coop ! When I built it I read an article that said " Build it so a Predator Can't get in " So I lined the floor/walls w/ wire mess under the Ply Wood so they can't chew through , it also has a Metal Roof ! I know close but No Cigar ! But I wasn't thinking " Faraday Cage " back then . Now .... You got me thinking ! Where's them Damn Grounding Rods ?
