F4U-4 CORSAIR

There's supposed to be a wire antenna that goes from that post to the tail

For years and years the main manufacturer of these type of model planes in the UK was/is called Airfix, I built a few as a kid, but I was never any good at painting them :(

Thought some of you might find this video interesting. This is just a trailer, but I watched the show on TV a couple of weeks ago and it was quite good. The jist of it is the guy wanted to get kids interested in building these kind of models again and got them to build a lifesize model of a Spitfire. Kind of made me want to build one again, hehe. That's just it Simon , what we used to do as kids has come and gone like it once was. Computers and Gameboys and Playstations have took over . Now I don't know if that's a good thing or not ? At least you knew where your kid was and what he was doing in the other room building his model.

The times have surely changed.Life in the fast lane comes to mind.
