Fathers Day Weekend - LSB 16

I think a time is hard, with time zones and life in general, but there are ideas I have heard, Maybe use, the top of the hour as a good time to check in, on 16. Or could be on the hour and the half hour, spin over to 16. I will get some radio time today, if mother nature is willing. " North 7, shouting out for the worldwide dx crew"

Hello All: Yeah I called and called a few times on 16 LSB, but no conditions just static. But I did hear a QSO from some guys back east they were on AM. 37, 38, and 39 LSB little traffic. Top of the hour, yeah give that a try today.

I'm getting ready to try at noon eastern/9:00A.M. pacific. I'll definitely try at 3:00P.M. and 6:00P.M. eastern as well, and maybe try on each hour if time permits.

I recently went back to keeping a simple log of my contacts. Over the last two months, most of my contacts have been within 500 to 1000 miles. From here in the Florida Keys, I've made contact with the Florida panhandle (500 miles away), Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky (all north) and Puerto Rico (1000 miles east southeast of me). I've heard Texas - a thousand miles to the west northwest of me - and a few others that were at that distance. The contacts listed have all been made with a half wave Big Stick (one on the base and a second one on the boat) and a barefoot radio.

We'll keep trying on LSB 16.
