FCC Releases Report and Order in "Morse Code" Proc

When looking at the Federal Register you can see the submissions for the next day. You can only view the next day's submissions during business hours. But the following headings of documents to be posted tomorrow for the FCC are-

NOTICES

Agency information collection activities; proposals, submissions, and approvals, E6-21767 , E6-21769

Rulemaking proceedings; petitions filed, granted, denied, etc., E6-21638 [2798] , E6-21639 [2800] , E6-21640 [2801]

http://www.archives.gov/federal-register/public-inspection/

Won't know until tomorrow if the "morse" rule change is included in the above.

:D yeah i noticed in my area there are no testing scheduled until jan. then april. my general cse expires in apr. i figured if i have to pay the fee to upgrade i might as well take the extra test.

The biggest announcement in ham radio ever. I was on QRZ the other day no code and code hams were ripping each others heads off.
That is exactly why I haven't been over there in a long time. It's a shame those messages are public. Alot of folks will view that stuff and think it's the majority of Hams instead of a small bunch of idiots with no life and nothing to do but gripe at each other. Gives Amateur Radio a bad name. :(
