For the DX guys . . . vertical or horizontal wire ??

is there both a horizontal and vertical antenna all in one?

I think an end fed dipole, if you tie one end horizontal and let the other end hag down might do it for you if you do not have enough space. I found for regular CB most people use vertical type set-ups, if your friends use horizontal you can do the same to minimize interference from others operating barefoot. If they use power that's another story.
 
I saw one at the Orlando Hamcation flea market a few weeks ago,....
it was about 15 feet long and had about 20 rings that started about 4 inches in Dia and then became smaller towards the boom end.

Obviously tuned for the high bands
