Interesting development
I have spoken with a guy who bought one of these same LP's. He loves his unit and didn't mention any problem with getting it.
I wanted one so I ordered one about a week ago. Ordered online - saw that they took paypal. I had the that much cash in my PP account so went ahead and used that form of payment.
So 5 days go by and I get an odd sounding email from them stating that they're having some sort of problem with their PP account. They're asking if they can refund me the money, through PP of course, and then contact them back and re-purchase a different way, like via a credit card. If I will do this, they will take 15% off the price.
So immediately I yes that is fine because I want to see this issue resolved as soon as possible. My money is being tied up with this delay. The email was sent to me and replied to Saturday evening.
Hopefully the refund will be executed today (Monday). I will probably take them up on the offer of the repurchase + discount.....but I am going to make them tell me what their problem is with PP, why they cannot get it fixed and why they haven't taken down PP acceptance from their website.
I'll keep you guys posted with what happens.
I think we would all hate to come on here and recommend a product or company to the group and then some problem or another turns up. Epic embarrassment.
SO FOR NOW, if you were thinking about making a laser buy from this company.....hold off until I get back with the rest of the story.
