A friend uses a 97 burd and he runs a 32 pill out of the north west corner maybe u heard him on the bowl, he goes by braindamage. Lots of ground.

I really don't understand why you are so dead set on using a huge base radio in your vehicle. Get a freaking Cobra 148 and wire up a freq counter. It'll be the same thing. Thats what a 2000 is, a Cobra 148 inside a big case.

In fact, if a freq counter is real important and you simply must have a Cobra, find a Cobra 148f gtl...has a built in 5 digit counter. Same basic board as a 2000...just a smaller package.
