GALAXY 45 MP commets

just notice these galaxy 45 radios. are these any good for a trucker radio. or would i be wasting my money. just looking for echo,talkback and a radio that will talk good. i just use channel 19 to. any comments would be helpful.

I had one and it died in a month.
A few friends had em and they all got cold weather problems.

Didn't they discontinue the 45mp?

It never really caught on. If you can get a good deal I'm sure you will be fine. You might look at the General Lee, Stryker, or the Magnum S3 and S380.
