A member since 2005 and only 16 posts. Also wanting to trade a radio worth more than what the dx959 cost new. Sounds kind of fishy. Like BF said, pics would be helpful. Seems a bit to good to be true and you know what they say about that. JMHO. Just find it hard to beleive someone would trade a radio with a 2290 toshiba transistor capable of way more power than the 959 and that has way more features. Just some food for thought. Not sayin it's a scam, but like I said, smells fishy to me. To the seller some pics would help a bunch!! JMHO's.
Maybe he never got it aligned correctly and wants to be rid of it.

Well he checked it on an antenna and if he doesn't know that he will get differnet readings from one end of the band to the other, his dumb mistake I suppose!! What will be funny is when the new radio shows the same thing LOL! Then I guess it will be that radios fault. Oh well, can't talk to a brick wall I guess. He will learn one day, maybe!!!
was work really good traded it to buttfuzz and got screwed his radio had blowen caps and a hack job of trying to install a mosfet set up and parts were missing.Set the radio to custom cbradios for repairs.I'm not to much into 10 meter anymore.DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF ANYTHING WITH BUTT FUZZ
So from July 30th to Aug. 1st, you traded the radio and got it? Just curious. Butt Fuzz asked about pics and such on Aug. 1st, which is 2 days after you made the post. Seems kind of odd unless you live really close to him I suppose. Did you take any pics to prove or disprove this??? Again, just curious.

I figured as much. Unless he lived really close to you. And I don't ever see you posting about doing mods as the ones he listed. Maybe he has you confused with someone else? And I agree, staying off the bottle helps a lot!!
