Galaxy 949 clarrifier unlock mod question

found a mod to unlock clarrifier in transmit. Question is after performing mod you set the knob for say recieve, then you key up and set the knob for transmit. Now when it goes back to recieve when unkeying and you have turned the knob for transmit isnt the recieve going to be off after turning the knob in transmit. how does it keap its reference. found this on cb tricks .com

Once you unlock the clarifier, your transmit and receive frequency are tied together. You should be transmitting and receiving on the same frequency.

it will work , but chances center slot will be off ,Most of the time a AM/LSB/USB get alighned after that.

Well, they WILL be on the same frequency, now whether that's the one you think you are on... well that's a different story. Yeah, you should align afterward.

i see i didnt relise they were tying them together. it makes sence now. didnt know how the circuite was working in the radio.
