Galaxy 94HP SSB Drift

hm i have a 94hp but i dont do ssb .dont know if it would drift or not .
once its warmed up it should be pretty stable not?i use mine as a base so i dont know of its cold weather performance.
i know i see like 150 peak ssb power output.

You may be able to add some grounding to help in stability but I'd refer you to Galaxy and they may be able to offer tips.

Some SSB drift is fairly common during warmup in Galaxy Export radios.

A local guy runs a Galaxy 98VHP, we are in a winter climate and the first few keys he drifts around alittle. I suppose the 94 is the same. It's not as bad as the old 88 & 99 but still a problem. I don't see how a ground will fix SSB drift at all.

I have never liked the Galaxy SSB radios for this exact reason. I have a friend that has this 94HP and he asked if I can find something to help it stabilize better

Sorry - I should have been more clear....wasn't refering to grounding the radio, but doing work inside on the can for LSB/USB.
