Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me some modification suggestions to my radio for better performance... Is there any way to adjust the squelch range? Does anyone have a schematic for this radio?

Yes, cbtricks is the place to go for tech info. As for mods, I don't recommend any other than bumping up the AMC level, and maybe bumping up the gain of the mic preamp IC by changing its feedback resistor to a higher value.
