Lets just say a mouse has pulled a thorn from the lions foot. Word on the street is hes busy as a cat covered in mud getting caught up and should be caught up soon.

I spoke with him shortly ago. He assured me that all is well and that he made a huge mistake in getting a few years behind on repairs and orders. He is working feverishly on getting caught up and plans to return.

I may drive up to see him this spring. He wants my 400 amp unregulated supply and he'll build me a 400 amp regulated supply.

I'd love to have him build me an amp in the future, but I never had the chance to speak with him about pricing. Any idea what he would get for a good straight 6 pill or so?

I don't and i can tell you it could be a year or two before it would be finished. Im almost 2 years in but heres the story.
Before my friend, neighbor and ch28 Good Time Gang member Dirty White Boy 521 passed away he got his Gatekeeper dx1600 with WI-MOTE control and it ran great. - - - > . I decided at that point if I were to have an HG amp built id like GK to do it. After i acquired a slightly blown dx1600 i called GK. He wasnt real open to taking on more work at the time and i soon found out why. He had some issues with customs seizing transistor shipments and needed some pills to finish his HG amp orders. Thats where i came in. I told him that if he took my job id buy all the pills he needed to get his backed up orders done and get back on track. I went to the HG website and dealt with North directly and he gave me a bulk deal.
That was almost 2 years ago and i know the wait will be worth it.

I appreciate you helping me out. At that time you didn't have to take on more work but you did and i was glad to help you in return.
I was impressed with Dirtys wifi 1600, that amp was nice. Unfortunately i dont know where it is but i could probably find out. 521 had an extensive collection of some real goodies and i didn't want to appear to be one the vultures that were circling the pile so i stayed away after his death.
The 1600 you're building for me will be one bullet proof 8 pill and a sweet amp by the time you're done.
I might have to make a trip to pick that up when its done. I think youre like 6 hours away.
