If my eyes don't deceive me I believe that is a mobile installation of the magical, mystical EH antenna. An antenna that defys the laws of physics. Looks big enough to be an 80 or 40 meter version.

They work better than a dummy load if you can get the feed line 50' in the air since that's the only part of the antenna that radiates.

Google it and you will see. ;)

Bad Photoshop work.
Mike

Believe it or not i found the picture on Breed Love's website... the guy who makes very nice mounts. i was going to order a MOUNT.

i want that ridiculously large retarded antenna LOL:laugh:

I thought the same thing. I blew the image up in a photo editor and looked closely at the piece of the car above the rear window. It appears to go behind the antenna which is an impossibility with the antenna mounted as it is shown. I'm not convinced it is a real picture.

4 MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM

I'm running the KW6-160....THE BASE is 3.5 inches in diameter
The motor driven tunable coil and Lexan sliding cover measure over 4 inches...
Works great!(y) Great Sig reports on All bands with just 100 watts(y)
I have worked Africa on 15m...coast to coast pretty much every morning on 75m with 100 watts...
I like it!...but what a HOG...the motor Larry installed was a Black & Decker vari-speed 3/8 th's 12 volt battery drill...again she's a brute...spun ALUM housing like 3/16 thick...I may try another whip or top hat at some point but just using a 63" SS whip presently out of the top...
All the Best
BJ

You're just made because car antenna guy out hammed you.

Where did you find that picture on Breedlove's site? I couldn't find it.

And by the way, that picture has definitely been 'photoshopped'. Take a close look at the driver's side of that rear glass, and also the 'spoiler' line at the top of the window just over that 'third' brake light. Want a little clearer view? Try 'reversing' it or a 'negative' view. Close, but no cigar.

HERE YOU GO: Flat Top Swivel Ball Mount

Check HI-Q antennas site. They make a 6" diameter one that just about like that.
Look at the antenna models and click on the 6" dia model and you'll see it.
It's the submarine model, military or mobile. :)

That.s exactly what I was looking at too. There is no way possible for that spoiler to be behind the antenna when the antenna is mounted out the side of the vehicle like that.
