Does anyone know where I can get a schematic for this amp, I've got a dandy that is giving me some issues, it is a Golden Falcon 200 it has (1) 6LF6 driving (3) 6LF6's, any help would be appreciated, I've been looking online with no luck, thanks. Widowmaker

The 1x3 6lf6 or 6lq6 sweep tube combo was used in many amplifiers... the old Firebirds , Kickers or Swingers come to mind. Maybe looking at one of those schematics will give you an idea of where to start.

Good luck and remember- there are lethal voltages inside that case! Be careful!!

I wondered the same thing, I think this amp became Eagle later on if I'm not mistaken, not sure about that, still looking for a schematic, will check on the Firebird or some of the others you mentioned, thanks. Widowmaker

You know the maco 200 uses 6lb6 tubes an a 6lf6 will plug right in an work fine so you might give it a look at....whats the problem you are haveing with it if i might ask....Thanks Don

The amp loads up great but, as soon as modulation is added, the relay starts clicking and arching blue inside the clear plastic relay, the power goes down when this happens, I was hoping to find the schematic to it to see if something is missing such as a cap or whatever it may be, without the schematic I'm flying blind, if I can't find a schematic, I'll strip the tubes out of the amp and throw it in the parts pile, it's just such a nice clean original amp I hate to scrap it out maybe, someday I'll find the schematic somewhere for it, thanks.

Well does it have a ssb switch ? that would put a cap in the keying circuit with it on....try that an see if it holds....or helps...if it does you could just put about a 10 mf 16vdc cap across the relay coil an it should hold it make sure the - side of the cap is at the keying circuit side of the relay coil....an this asumes that the keying circuit is 12vdc type....

oh also check any and all switching diodes right their at around the keying circuit they will be little redish in color glass diodes maybe just one or maybe two of them depends how they designed the keying circuit.....

Thanks for the input Doc, it does have SSB, I'll poke around with some of this stuff, he was a somewhat of a tech (hack actually) without the schematic I wouldn't have any idea if he took something out or altered it somehow, that's my concern, thanks again.
