Good am/ssb cb for tx star 250

yes 6watt dk is too high.generally 2watts is just right
as for radios i agree with everyone else a standard cb
40 ch. radio would do great with that amp.HOWEVER a 2950
or magnum 257 will work provided ya keep the carrier down
and watch your pep on ssb.or just get a 2970dx it wil do
around 150 watts pep

forgot MY list of radios
1] texas ranger ssb models [thier all great]
2]uniden/cobra hard 2 find clean unbutchered ones
3]galaxy.never really impressed me partically with ssb.
id stick with #1or2
