I think theres' something wrong with me here ? I laughed !!! ......after all these years IM glad IM just a cotten pick'in cb bozo !!! Just give me my old school cb radios and IM a happy camper (-: not to mention a decent amp to help my carrier out a little bit (-: ......kind of reminds me of that old used Cherokee 150 they used in that movie "Joyride" they got so damned scared behind it ,they through it out the window only to fine it a day later back in there trunk only to work as good as it did after the fact. I know ,only in the movies huh (-: guess what IM trying to say is that there is a lot of old school cb radios out there still working as good as the day they were bought.....why do you suppose that is ? Hmmmmm I also suppose that all these truck stop type certified tech-a-roony's can be grateful to the Pang's of the world for helping them to stay in business and keep radios for repair in front of them ?

Your right....I see 'em every day on Ebay and would rather buy one of those over just about anything new in the CB/Export world. They work better, they aren't cosmetic clones (for the most part), and you can actually get in there with a soldering iron to replace a part. Back to the cosmetics - I guess what I was trying to say is that they had "Style', as opposed to the cookie-cutter mold (most notably the "rack mount" style base stations. Whew...I know I can't be the only one tired of that format).
